bangkok city living

I stay at a condominium called The Link 2 in the heart of Bangkok. Searching for places to live in a new country from a different country is decently difficult. It's hard to trust what people claim over the internet. When I first saw photos of this condo online I thought no way can it be this good. I opened the door to my new home and couldn't be happier. The place is fantastic in so many ways. The view is great from the balcony, the windows fill the place with natural light, and hardwood floors! I am, thus far, extremely pleased with my decision.

My roommate, Caroline, and I pay 20,000 baht per month. That equals out to roughly $600 USD.

It is conveniently located next to the BTS station and next to the Tesco Lotus supermarket which I keep referring to as the glorified Thai Wal-Mart.

The amount of window light in this apartment makes a photographer very happy.

Yes, our dishes have roosters on them.

Balcony views of Bangkok.

This quaint pool will be a relief from the Thai sun.

Dragon fruits.

Here's to living in Thailand.
