on nut night market

The area of Bangkok in which we live is called On Nut. On Nut isn't known for much; there isn't incredible restaurants or hot night clubs. However, about a four minute walk away from my condo is the On Nut night market. After the Thai locals finish up with work and the students are ready for dinner, they head to this market for cheap food & cheap brews.

Along with a beer garden and food court, the market sells a wide variety of clothing items mostly targeting young Thai girls. I would be lying if I told you I hadn't bought several items here already. Louis Vuitton and Gucci knock-offs sell for around five bucks. Handmade jewelry and lingerie are hard to resist at the low, low prices. But I'll tell ya what, if you are anything past a size 5- you're screwed. The clothes come in one size and do not fit all. Asian women, as you probably know, are tiny...and so are their clothes.
